Try listening slowly in your next interviews

I saw this post from Jeff Haden on LinkedIn and thought our WAPS recruiting community may want the reminder to slow down when interviewing job candidates and let them fill the silence with information.

“Eventually almost every interview turns into a question-and-answer session. You ask a question. The candidate answers… You quickly go to the next question. And the next question. And the next. We all do it; there’s only so much time and yet so much ground to cover.  Besides, the more questions we ask the more we learn about the candidate. Or not.
